Subject: Get ready to die.

I Kings 22: 1-36
We are all going to die one day, Sooner or later.

King Ahab was warned by the prophets of the Lord.
He knew what he should do.
He didn't like the words the prophets told him.

He wanted to do what he wanted, and he didn't want the Lord interfering with it.
We will all face death sooner or later.
There is a time and a place already determined for you. just like Ahab.

Ahab had disobeyed God and God was now punishing him. Chapt. 20

If Ahab had repented, I believe that God would have forgiven him. But Ahab was only angry at the prophet that brought Gods word.
He would not look at himself and see what he dad done wrong. Pride and self-righteousness


God told him by the prophet that he would die in battle, but Ahab didn't believe God.

God is able to bring death upon us even when we know it is coming, and we are prepared against it.

God is all powerfull, and you are in his control. Even when you are in rebellion.

The God of the universe is calling you to come to him for salvation.
Will you do like Ahab? disobey God, and do what you want to do?

You might think, "I know what God will do, and I will be ready fror it". But you don't know God.

You are going to die, and you don't have to go to Hell.
Will you come to him while you have time?

Satan will try to lead you astray.
He will be a lying voice in all of the preachers that you hear.
But you know who is telliing the truth, just as Ahab knew.
You may not like it, as Ahab didn't, but if you accept the truth, there is hope for you.

Are you ready to die?
Are you going to try to go against God?

We can all see that the end time is near, and we all know of the judgements that are coming.

First there will be war.
Then there will be famine.
Then death by the beasts of the field.

Then hail with fire and blood.
Then 1/3 part of the sea becomes blood.
then 1/3 of the fresh water is made bitter and many died.
Then torment of the creatures from the bottomless pit.
Then the  four angels from the river Euphrates loosed to make war. to slay 1/3 of men
If you don't have the mark, you will be killed.
The sea will be turned to blood, all of it.
The fresh waters will be turned to blood.
The sun is given power to scorch men. (scorch, to burn without consuming)
Then darkness
then great hail, about 50-100 pounds
