Satan is an angel of light to deceive you. 2 Corinth. 11:13,14 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. There are many people today whose salvation is based on a vision or dream, or some notion of their own. But these visions and dreams and stuff are from the Devil himself. God permits Satan to give these things, and Satan uses these to keep you decieved. He wants you to keep on thinking that you are ok. Are you decieved? I ask you this because I ask myself this. Many are decieved. They think they are saved, and they think that they will escape Hell. But they won't. Your ignorance won't save you on that last great day. Matt. 24:37-41 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Here we see that all will NOT be saved. This shows that actually, very few will be saved. He says "as the days of Noe were". In the days of Noah, only 8 people in the whole Earth were saved. Some people know that they are going to Hell. But most think that they will some how get into heaven. Most are decieved. Isaiah 55:6,7 6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he WILL have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. Gods word tells us to "seek the Lord". Did you ever seek him? If you didn't, then you must not be saved. Before the flood Noah preached to the people. (2 Peter 2:5) He warned them that the flood was coming. But they would not believe Noah. Look back at Matt. 24:39 - "And knew not until the flood came" This shows that they wouldn't have what Noah was preaching. Look at Matt Chapt. 7 This tells us more of the same thing. Matt 7:13-23 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. MOST of the world is going to Hell, this is Gods word and his assesment of the situation not mine. If most of the world is going to hell, then we should preach against it. In Noah's day most of the world perished, and Noah preached against it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. These are the decieved. They think that they are saved. They think that they are going to help you to get saved, or help you in your walk with God. But they are doing the work of Satan and don't know it. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. This is a warning to these faith healers and such that go about preaching healing instead of salvation. Christ came to save sinners. Have you ever came to see that you are a sinner? If you have never seen your sinfull condition and your sinfull nature, then you have never seen a need for salvation. You are one of the whole who need not a phsysician Look at Luke 5:31 5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Have you ever came to see that you are a sinner? If not, then you are not saved. Christ came to call sinners to REPENTANCE. 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Have you ever felt that godly sorrow? If not then you are not saved. The godly sorrow worketh repentance. And you can never be saved except you repent. Luke 13:5 But, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. No repentance, no salvation. Are you decieved? Does Satan have you blinded? Are you saved? I am not tyring to pick on anyone. I only see how easy it is for a person to be blinded by Satan. And I see how easy it is for ME to be decieved by Satan. It is only the power of God that keeps me, And if God doesn't keep you, then you WILL be decieved. I ask each of you to make your calling and election sure. 2 Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? Satan is able to keep you decieved even in the seaching of yourself.
